Titans #11 introduces a new robot villain with strong potential, shows that Nightwing is becoming reckless (not in a good way), and sets the stage for Evil Raven to continue her descent into darkness. I'm at the point where this series is being graded on a curve for me. If I felt invested in this story, the flaws with this issue would feel disappointing. But Taylor hasn't given readers much emotionally resonant material to work with up to this point, so I picked up this comic simply hoping to have a decent time, and that was achieved. Probably the best issue of the run outside of Beast World. The new villain has an awesome origin story and it’s a fun read. Art is great too, the action flows which is what you want in a book like this. Good twist/cliffhanger with the Raven storyline, nice plot progression.
this is a solid series right here. Tom Taylor is cooking, and this is not only in my opinion the Definitive Titans run, but it's right up there with the great superhero team runs like Geoff Johns Justice League, Grant Morrison JLA, Hickman and Bendis Avengers, Hickman's Fantastic Four, Jed Mackay's Avengers, etc. This is one of the best superhero team runs out there, and I highly reccomend people read this.
