Summary: At breakfast, the team talks about the boys at Lila's party that Amara missed. For fun, Dani shows her heart's desire: Empath. Amara gets angry at her for doing so & leaves the room. In her room, she reads a letter from her father asking her to return home. The Hellions are watching TV at breakfast & see footage of Cannonball crashing into a tower, which freed Bird Boy. The Hellions decide to go capture BB first, assuming the NM's are involved. The NM's see BB on TV & decide to rescue him, thinking that he is a mutant. Tarot creates a winged creature from one of her cards to provide transportation. Magik teleports the team, along with Brightwind, to the city. They find BB as the Hellions swoop in on them. Dani lands Brightwind as team members are about to fall off. Dani & Amara fly after the Hellions & are attacked by Tarot's creatures. Amara burns Tarot's cards, causing the Hellions to fall, until Tarot creates another winged creature to save them. The creature slashes at Brightwind, causing Brightwind to land hard. Dani falls off & hits her head. Amara tells Warpath to get away from Dani. Empath uses his powers to manipulate Amara, who has feelings for him. Magik & the others teleport to the scene with fish. Cannonball beats Jetstream to Bird Boy & carries him into Magik's teleportation disk, & the team disappears. In the Danger Room, they find that Bird Boy is most comfortable in a desert island setting. Doug says that BB is so alien that he can't understand him. Amara tells the team that she is transferring to the Massachusetts Academy to resolve her feelings for Empath.

Comments: It is unclear at this point whether Amara's feelings for Empath are genuine or were created by Emma Frost. more
