Batman: Last Knight on Earth #1

May 29, 2019

What more can be said? If youre a fan of Snyder and Capullo on Batman youll love this. If you like superheroes wandering post-apocalyptic wastelands, youll love this. If you really liked Old Man Logan, but wished it was about Batman, youll love this. Batman Last Knight on Earth is shaping up to be a fitting end to an epic Batman run.

Future Foundation (2019) #1

Aug 7, 2019

Ultimately, this book has everything a Fantastic Four book should have. Wild sci-fi ideas, interesting characters that interact in believable ways, some fun action, and an ending that will leave you excited for the next issue. Future Foundationis shaping up to be as resonant a book as Gillen and McKelvies Young Avengers, and hopefully it will last at least as long.

Jughead (2015) #1

Jun 14, 2019

There may be a few bumps within the storytelling, but nothing bumpy enough to mention here. And above all, this is a fun read. A book you can pick up and enjoy without any baggage. If youre an Archie fan, youll love this. If youre not familiar with Archie, but you like fun, silly storytelling, youll still probably have a good time (also now I kind of want to try making a lemon meringue pie).

Marilyn Manor #1

Marilyn Manor is one of those books thats just strange in a really fun way. Much like the main character, its not concerned with fitting in or following any rules. It just wants to have fun. And the cliffhanger promises more weirdness to come.

Test #1

Jul 5, 2019

Test is one of those books that feels like it knows something you dont. It walks the walk when so many other books can barely talk the talk. After reading this first issue, I have no idea where Test is going from here. But I know I want to find out.
