Snotgirl #1

Jul 28, 2016

Snotgirl # 1 is a clever and entertaining new series from the creative mind of O'Malley. It is full of his usual brand of humor and a lead character that readers can't help but embrace. This book is on my radar for top new titles in 2016. Fans of his work will not be disappointed with adding this to their monthly pull list.

The Wicked + The Divine #20

Jun 16, 2016

The Wicked + The Divine continues to stand tall in the comic landscape. Add in the amazing artwork of Jamie McKelvie and the series vaults to many top ten list. With 20 issue our so far it is not a tall order for new readers to pick up the trades and dive in the world of the Pantheon. I for one look forward to the Team Laura vs Team Ananke battle within the next couple issues.

The Wicked + The Divine #21

Jul 14, 2016

Once again Gillen and company provide a knockout issue loaded with action and deception. I'm already looking forward to seeing who will make it out the next issue with most of their limbs still attached. There is little doubt that aftermath of this battle will greatly change landscape of the series going into the second half of its run.

Wonder Woman (2016) #1

Jun 30, 2016

While this is far from a perfect issue, it does very well in giving a glimpse into the new future of the character. "The story keeps changing" and hopefully things will begin to make better sense in this new era for DC. Wonder Woman should be one of the top Rebirth series and only time will tell that to be true or not.
