Aquaman (2011) #14

Dec 1, 2012

The work of Pete Woods and Pete Perez is not the most beautiful thing to look at but it doesnt obscure your thoughts from the story, which to me is "Okay art". Aside from that its a great issue leaving me for much to look forward to with high hopes and expectations!

Aquaman (2011) #15

Dec 28, 2012

What is there to complain about? Aquaman has been amazing since Geoff Johns took the title, and getting twice the Aquaman in one month is more than I can ask for! This month Aquaman does the usual job of keeping the readers interest peaked. If this is what the rest of the arc is going to be, well, Geoff Johns, you have me truly excited!

It's a disappointing end for Deadpool, but there's nothing we can do but hope the new Marvel NOW Deadpool team gives us the Deadpool we want!

Marvel Zombies Halloween #1

Oct 18, 2012

The story is short and simple no backstory required, heck! You can pick this issue up not knowing Marvel Zombies existed and understand it fully. The story is not story driven but character driven, and follows the story of a mother and her son, that’s about all I can tell you without ruining the story for you! It begins with a The Walking Dead vibe, giving it a sense of hopelessness and disillusionment. If you've never read The Walking Dead, well this would give you a good idea of what it's like, but without all the super heroes of course. The story is clearly geared towards Marvel's younger audience by not being to graphic or gritty, and its story is less on edge. It may not be as great as the original Marvel Zombies but it is a fun read... but what's Halloween with out Zombies?

Scarlet Spider #11

Nov 10, 2012

Although I am somewhat disappointed so far with this event, it’s a fun read, and of course Carnage is always the awesome character he always is.
