Jonathan Hickman has not only churned out a masterful story but has also set the stages for the Inhumanity event that will follow. Infinity has turned out to be an epic event and this latest issue is a modern day masterpiece in the art of sequential storytelling featuring some of the top talents in the business stepping forward and delivering amazing work. They have raised the stakes for the Marvel Universe and have set the pace for one hell of a finish to the Infinity event!

Invincible Iron Man #24

Mar 6, 2010

Matt Fraction is an incredible talent and this book serves to prove that statement. He has such a firm grasp on the characters and what exactly makes them tick and knows how to tell a story that captivates the reader. It helps that his art team helmed by Salvador Larocca can take Fraction’s words and parlays them into a visual feast. Iron Man has been such an amazing book that has been non-stop awesomeness! This arc in particular will go down with the “Demon in a Bottle” story from decades ago as the definitive Iron Man tales.

Mighty Avengers #34

Mar 6, 2010

This is another good showing by writer Dan Slott who continually impresses me with this title. Penciler Neil Edwards did a nice fill in job here for Khoi Pham the normal penciler. I am sad to hear that this book is going to be closing shop as it was a fun read featuring a somewhat team of cast-offs.

X-Men (2013) #6

Oct 15, 2013

I've been following "Battle of the Atom" like any self-respecting X-Men fan would andhave appreciated what each creative team has brought to the table. While each story may have its own distinctive mark they gel together organically and all converge on theelement of family which is what the X-Men have always been about. An overall greatread.
