TheBatman/Superman: Authority Special #1should be one of the number-one sellers for DC Comics, and there's a great reason why. The story is engaging and epic, it opens many avenues for future stories, and of course, it features our World's Finest team. Some serious narrative thought's gone into this issue, as well as a taste of fun superhero banter. The art is gorgeous and eye-catching, and I've collected both the initial cover and variant and do not regret it. I don't think you will either.

Batman Secret Files #3 gives readers an insight into our Dark Knight, and a behind the scenes look at his daily work in Gotham. The city would not do well without him. If you're a fan of great action, a fair bit of drama, and classic Bat-Wayne brooding " like I am " then you'll find this a spectacular read.

The writing is so strong, I had to put the book down for a few moments to handle it. It's Batman, but someone going: he's driving through the city in an unlicensed tank, destroying millions of dollars of property, and sometimes injuring civilians. They're such valid reason to arrest him, even Babs and Dick have nothing to say. A crime is a crime, the law is the law, and Batman breaks it. Napier is out to get justice, not war. It's such a political piece. How many activists, fighting for human rights, were forced behind bars versus the number unjust politicians who create decisions destroying people's lives? How many shooters walk away with sympathies? This is that story. You see Gordon's weakness, Batman's falling, and how evil men rise.

Murphy is pulling from our understandings of a good versus evil narrative. He's taking them, and warping it into a wicked tale of heroism and destruction. I like the way this series is going; it certainly makes you rethink who the Joker is. Batman has always been about more than just weapons and fighting, it brings up questions of power and mental illness. When illness such as the ones Dr. Quinzel stated for Jack: psychosis and schizophrenia, often these patients lose autonomy, the police, the country, everyone else carries all governance of your body. I'm not sure who I am supposed to cheer for, and I am loving that.

Still one of the best series happening right now. It's a political, compelling issue which deals with mental health, manipulative governments, and the impact on a family. An amazing of this narrative is that these characters are extraordinarybut their responsesto death, disappointment, and fear are so real and ordinary. It's truly a gorgeous piece.

This series might be the harshest way to destroy a Bat. This is a must-read, gorgeous series. I think one of the best stories DC has out so far. The art is fantastic, beautiful. This issue was political, and there aren't many action scenes, but it opens up eyes. There are videos out there where Hitler talks to his public, people that are close to him and he looks so human. Even the biggest monsters can look human and envoke love and sympathy.

There's so much fighting left to do and I lose my mind each time I read this series! It's commentary on social politics and social relationships stand true even at this time. Murphy and colorist Matt Hollingsworth are killing it in issue #5, making it not hard to fall in love at all. Reading it, you can tell it's a personal issue as he pulls in realistic moments and perspective. How many monsters have been loved? And how many heroes have been tortured in silence?

Issue #6 loses isn't about politics. Gotham thrives off the drama, and so it would be a loss if we don't see the family break. There's much more to it; the ending is what was expected (spoilers!) Of course this was all set up and we need a hero! But, what are those pills doing to him and did Napier just call Harley Quinn a "Hot Topic shoplifter"? Because I lost it in laughter; ending Friday night by heading out in Harley Quinn's jacket curtsey of Hot Topic, thanks for the laugh! I needed it in the midst of all that pain. Can't wait for the next issue!

The leading lady is diminished to enhance the story. Warner Bros. is doing so much to change their tales to fit the real world, that I hope all Batman comics stop being filled with toxic-masculinity and low-key racism. Bruce Wayne is not an abuser; he's a mentor, a father, a teacher, and hero. I look forward to more issues that show this (hinting at Tom King's Batman #17, where the Robins grab fast-food for a meeting).

The hype prior to this first issue was absolutely worth it, and I'm adoring the creations by fans. Prepare to get your world shaken, because the cliff-hanger is insane! This is a must-have, don't miss out! I imagine it will sell out everywhere, so call your stores and place your orders.

A critical hit! I can't wait until the next issue comes out! We have twelve fantastical months to look forward to. This series holds great meaning to me, and I am sure to many others. As a Dungeons & Dragons player, the casting of these characters are mad-fun. Bruce is a Blood Hunter/Paladin, combative, but knows of magic with intense devotion. Kal is a regal Rogue with strength and charisma. It's a stunning take on our DC playground and the transformation is on point. The Dark Knight and the Kryptonian Prince are a brilliant team up, and the art and action transcends you.

This story is highly worth the time, there is so much more to discover, but a lot of beauty and horror happens in this issue. The characters break out of classic heroic ideals, which is interesting to see. The lettering is placed with such care, each action is high impact. The art does not fail you, from the action scenes to the romance, it's all drawn with heart and emotion. We've started heavy, but one can sense the pain is just beginning.

This is a fun and emotional world, and Dark Knights of Steel #2 continues a must-have story for all DC fans, and those who love our wonderful Bats and Kryptonians. Readers can have a lot of fun with this world, and I hope it doesn't end with this series. It's action-packed, tragic, romantic, and moving. Each issue's filled with more tension and excitement, and I cannot wait to see what issue #3 has in store!

I highly recommend collecting this series if you haven't started yet!

Dark Knights of Steel #5 is another winner, a book filled with great dialogue and heart-wrenching moments. I'm loving this medieval universe and the new versions of our favorite heroes. I have a major suspicion that there are imposters in this universe trying to hurt the name of the Els and, in addition, There's a very suspicious kryptonite moment. Tom Taylor, please continue to pull on our heartstrings.

I started collecting this series because of the creative team, but now I'm in love with the new characterizations of my favorite heroes and the amazing visuals. The lore is such a fun take, and I'm really enjoying the mixed dynamics. Those who you think are friends, are foes, and those who are foes are friends. Tom Taylor is an expert on twists, and I am hoping for so many more in the months to come.

I highly recommend Dark Knights of Steel #7, especially if you're a Teen Titans fan, or if you'd like to see more of the Bat-prince (I always will). In addition, dragons! This would be an excellent setup for a DM for those who are enjoying the combination of Dungeons and Dragons with the DC Universe. As an avid player, I think it would be incredible to release applicable character sets (starting at 20 strength is a bit unreal for my level 3 Paladin skillset).

My complaint since issue #6 has the same, this series is coming out so slowly it's agonizing at times. I think we're now a year in and we're only just past halfway done, when I expected the series to be completed by now. It's alright, we're getting there… slowly but surely. However, if you're someone a bit impatient like me, then I suggest waiting for the full collection to come out. Also, if you're like me, then you'll want the next issue right now! The art's beautiful and the story pulls you in every time. Issue #8 gave a good jolt to the proceedings, and I'm absolutely looking forward to the next one.

It's Dark Knights Of Steel #9, we're almost at the end! Also, there's Batman riding a Dragon a fantasy somewhere, now come to life with eye-catching art-work! That's something I'll never get tired of

Dark Knights of Steel #10 is a great issue filled with emotional moments. We only have two more chapters to go, yet there's so much left to be answered. If you've been following this series, then yes absolutely pick up issue #10, and not just because all the covers are gorgeous. We're so close to the finish line now, I'm excited for the full series to be released in one book. Overall, this was a captivating issue created by a dream team.

It'll be sad to see this series end. I hope there will be more callbacks to this universe, and I'm looking forward to the final battle. Dark Knights of Steel #11 was sincerely a fun and enticing issue to read, and I'm happy I've added it to my collection. As an avid Superman and Batman fan, this is one sweet read.

I want more, and other fans are left wanting more, too. Isn't that perfect for an Elseworlds saga? The series ends with this universe's own Justice League, pulling on my heartstrings. I'm hoping there will be more, as the art and different iterations of my favorite heroes has been a thrill to read.

I'm always excited to see a partnership with the Dark Knight. Bruce Wayne is such a unique and brilliant character that a character will always evolve around him, and he will always evolve with the partnership as well. The Shadow's form of vigilante is dangerous, while Batman is aware of his surroundings. He tries his best to keep everyone out of harm's way, The Shadow does not and this will cause dilemma and tension. I am interested in their chemistry. In the past, they have established respect, I know this will happen but I'm also looking forward to an awkward friendship as well. Overall, absolutely mandatory for your comic collection and a must-read!

This is another brilliant comic series. I've been addicted to crime dramas since I was a child, so this is a treat for me. I really want to know the person/people behind the murders, and why. I'm also intrigued to see this relationship develop because chemistry with Batman is always an interesting time. With amazing writers and artist behind this series, I'm sure it'll continue to be an astounding story. I won't give out a big spoiler, but the last panel art is a piece! A strong representation of evil.

I believe this is one of the best series to follow. It beautifully encompasses a thriller murder/mystery within Batman and his world. I feel that so much art is coming out these days that are primarily for children and family fun. Soft bright colors, kids with jeans, so on and so on. But this series? I've been pulled into a dark world with meaning and I've been fullyentertained per issue. I loved the Joker's design and diction, he spoke with sensible insanity. Each issue thus far has had the perfect endings: answering one question and having 3 more introduced.

This is an amazing crossover series; I cannot express it enough. I've been craving depth and a witty team up with Batman, and the writers deliver. They've made a fascinating detecting series, with only a few supernatural moments. It's filled with humans, which is one of the most appealing aspects of Batman and crew. This evil exists in our world, whether in war or capitalism. Even if we can't fight alongside them, it's cathartic to see villains go down at the same time providing us with symbolic realism as the heroes still suffer because no victory is without suffering. There are only a few more issues to go, I cannot wait, and at the same time, I need savor each issue as I'll miss it once it's over. It's a must have for the collection!

Overall, a good read! If you're following the tale, I'd say to keep at it! The writing is memorable, and the art is great fun to study. I'm excited for more renditions of The Batman Who Laughs, and so horror-Esque stories are my jam. I only wish this issue was as brutal as its last. I could always do with more interactions and team-upswith the Bat, so each issue is always a treat!

My only disappointment is that I wish the series was less supernatural. They're both detectives, and Batman has a habit of not staying in his realm. Magic, dreams, and otherworldly experiences are not things new to Batman, his world is a trip, but supernatural evil teaming up with the Joker gave it an insane aura that felt like overkill at the end. Still, the art and writing conveyed a good unreliable narrative which I believe is part of the message. No one can rely on their mind. All members of the party, Joker, Batman, Shadow, the Stag, were pulled into a dark place in their minds and some just never got out if their heads. DC did an amazing job setting up the art duo, it's dynamic, amazing, top notch! Creepy and eerie, and if you've kept up with the series, the finale is worth it.

This was a great read for a hero/horror crossover series with two of my favorite former Boys Wonder.

Great annual! I'd recommend to pickup this issue if you're a collector and a fan of Lobdell. It's a wholesome issue, a good break with all the disasters going on in the edgy DC Multiverse. Artemis and Bizarro are solid! She's witty and charming, and so is Bizarro. It's filled with good chuckles. The bat-boys could always use some peace and happiness. Nice work, Rebirth!

Pick up this issue if you're interested in virus-themed stories, Huntress, the Secret Files series (which contains Batfam arcs that I adore) and of course, and an arc where the Bat is in trouble again.

If you're a fan of The Signal and Bat-family lore, this is an issue to pick up!

The character of Peacekeeper-01 is fascinating as we get to see his creation, and the journey of those impacted by Joker venom has to be a sad but captivating journey. This is a dangerous chemical that triggers severe psychotic symptoms. If you're a fan of villains and their origin stories, as well as a Neo-Gotham look, particularly if you've been following Batman: Secret Files, “Future State” and the current “Fear State”, then this is certainly an issue you won't want to miss.

If you wanted to know more about Miracle Molly, a brand new character in the DC universe, that's a treat for the eyes, then this issue's for you. It's great to give new heroes and vigilantes a good introduction, and a chance, just like the Justice League often does. It seems characters in the Secret Files have suffered grave inequalities, which, like The Joker said “all it takes is one bad day.” Although currently, her alignment is villainous, all she wants is to break a system that isn't working anymore. Gotham doesn't just suffer from criminal corruption, but societal as well.

As I mentioned, it's difficult writing in a new character, but the thought process, paralleled with the back and forth between the flashbacks and our hero's hunt is captivating. I was taken in by the story, and felt sad for the character at the end. The way things are left could really provide him with more fun stories in the future. If you'd like to see more of Punchline, check in on the current state of Gotham City, and learn about a character who was introduced a year ago into Gotham, then pick up a copy of Batman: Secret Files: Clownhunter #1. He seems like a perfect match for the Bat-fam… an there's a fun family member cameo at the end!

This was an interesting read, and seeing more of DC's icons is always lovely.

Harley Quinn's blast from the past is also a great juxtaposition between the two villains. Both Dr. Gabriela Matias and Dr. Quinn went down the path of insanity and power; but Harley listens to the goodness inside her (sometimes). Dini gave us a charming insight to the possessive jester. I have to admit, I'm a bit spoiled by Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti's version of Harley and how progressive they've made her, with both art and behaviour. But Dini's work on Harley is always amazing. Lots of love and hope that way!

There are moments that leave us thinking: "Why are there so many vapid and annoying female characters?" Sometimes the answer is because most men write up these women and so the purpose of their identities is so mangled and warped. But I loved how Paul Dini didn't make this into a love story. It was a small insight into Harley's reasoning, which I know is much more complex.

I am entranced by this series, I was originally heart-broken when the New 52 Red Hood and the Outlaws ended, because the chemistry was just so solid. However, reading this, I still appreciate the old, but the story tellers and the artists are doing a wonderful job of healing my heart. I will reiterate what I said in my last review, I love Scott Lobdell.

A series easily to immerse into, Red Hood and the Outlaws #10 is one to humble your collection.

All their faces, bodies, fighting scenes are spot on and aesthetic. If you don't enjoy the resolution, get this for the art! The conclusion in writing is anti-climactic, especially after having 3 months of an enticing build-up, but Soy and Gandini definitelymake up for what's lacking. Lobdell is talented, and the writing has been stand-up for this series. I suppose the ending felt forced and rushed. Maybe Artemis needed more time? But that's alright, we have more than enough time to learn and love this team.

The trio of creators, Lobdell, Soy, and Gandini make a wicked Trinity themselves, it's making this one of the best DC comic series thus far. I'm eager to follow Bizzaro's story. The ending was as emotional and tragic as it wanted to be (spoilers) we know he will be alright, but I hope I do get to see more of Bizzaro's interactions. I feel he has the least exposure in this series, I watch Artemis and Jason with Bizzaro in adoration. They better take care of Pup Pup while he's gone!

The backgrounds are detailed, and on that balance where it looks like animated reality. Veronica Gandini's gifted coloringmakes this issue gorgeous to look at. A big appeal of my collection is due to the artwork, accompanied with a fantastic story is a bonus. During the introduction, she plays with childhood palettes, as if out of an animated cartoon show for children. However, Soy's detailed pencilling makes me feel more adult reading it. The introduction pulls nostalgia.

100% worth it. The cover art matches the tone of this issue, and if you can tell it's a delightful ride. Lobdell creates one of my favorite versions of Jason Todd; he maintains this outlaw persona while keeping him a goofy Bat-kid at heart. It's been a few issues with the story of Artemis, and that was a dark ride. Jason and Artemis both faced their demons, but I could go for some more darkness in the following issues. Knowing Rebirth, they won't let me down in that area.

A fun ride! It's another “versus” issue. If you're looking into starting this series, this wouldn't be a bad adventure to start off with. It's witty, cute, and filled with action. Welcoming to all ages! By the way, I am loving how DC did the thing:

A fun intermediate issue which a touch of darkness. You can't help but feel irkedfor Bizzaro. The “first date” is cute, but I appreciated the New 52 romances much better at this time. I feel as if Lobdell hasn't been able to tap into that “one romantic scene,” and with almost 20 issues in I thought I'd be getting more out of the characters. Plus points to end off though are Artemis and Jason have good banter and have an almost child-like care towards Bizarro. The blush on the cover? Seeing the Bat-boys flustered is probably one of my favoritethings.

This issue doesn't progress the narrative too much, but I appreciate how Lobdell is still trying to connect with his readers.

I'm greatly biased, as Trinity is my most beloved Rebirth series, thus far. I appreciate the development of their chemistry and combined strengths. However, unless you're a fan of Superman, this issue might not interest you, but I'll be looking forward to the continuation of this series. Props to Bunn for instilling an affinity for Superman in this issue.

This is an interesting thriller issue, a mixture of superheroes and creature features. I could hear an eerie,monotonous soundtrack in the back of my head while Flash was giving us the run-down of what's going on. Dismembered Cyborg didn't help tone it down either. I'm genuinely curious as to what went down on this ship, however, I believe I am as confused as Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. It's certainly something I've added to my collection. The art alone is completely worth it, but I'd suggest to read it differently. Instead of a superhero comic, read it like a murder-mystery and see if you feel anything different.

Say what you must, but I enjoyed this issue! As a fan of creature features and superheroes, I'm loving this. It's friendly and fun, and hopefully, we'll get back to the deeper themes between the Trinity. My only complaint is that I would love to see more chemistry between the three.

This finished the "Dead Space" story arc of Trinity. It ends how it started, Bruce, Clark, and Diana wonders if they're still in reality. It ends peacefully, which isn't common ground of DC. It makes it that much more special. Their bonds are growing. I hope Manapul continues to write for them because each member spoke of the other, I'm excited to see them as close as they once were.

A fun issue if you enjoy the interactions. Banter amongst the Leaguer is one of my favorite DC tropes. The storyline is simple, but the (spoiler) appearance of Red Hood and the Outlawsplaces me at a loss. I'm still craving for more moments that will develop the bonds since the world's most powerful superhero Trinity has to be stronger than this.

The “vroooooom!” can take you back to your childhood. Possessivedemons are also perfect for the month of Halloween. I'm looking forward to its conclusion, but I do hope for an ending that instills some strongemotions.

A major favorite is Superman and Wonder Woman being weakenedto almost human strength. It's not often they're the ones placed in vulnerable situations, these two are commonly compared to gods. Great issue and can't wait for their next adventure!

It's not a jolly issue, but the team-building is gorgeous. Diana, Bruce, and Clark reminisce about the concept of time. To each of them, time is so different; however, to the mortal, the goddess, and the alien time is their most common factor. For all of them, for all their power, their might and love, time still takes everything away. Being the most mortal, Bruce at age 10 understood what time meant earlier than anyone. And so he wants to help Deadshot. He will, we trust him. And his team trusts him.

A fantastic and fun arc. Trinity has its ups and downs, but wholeheartedly, I think it's creating a good voice. It's difficult balancing three super and dominant characters and so one character suffers in development. I'm happy to see this team-up of talents for the series. I'd like to see Diana make a few jokes and have banter in the future, and will Clark name his unicorn as Batman names his cows and horses?

It's great! I'm excited! There is a lot of lore to through, but the story is what sells it. As fans, we want to know what's going on in their world. I love Robinson's version of the Trinity. I enjoy seeing them as gentle characters, defeating foes with love and magic! But the action and giant muscles, blood included is always a bonus. The anger in Diana's face is threatening. We know that Deimos is in big trouble.

Here's hoping my favorites fall into some romance, healing, and care in future issues.

This series is extremely entertaining. Harley had caught my attention since the 1990s. I can't imagine a moment where she wasn't entertaining. A comic of her being the title character can be summed in one word: fun. Even next to Batman, in DC's Christmas Special, she helps him break into (one line) a Christmas carol. That's talent! The story is slightly staggered, but they are building up to a deeper meaning and desire. This being only issue 16, I know there is much more coming.

We've already seen them fight: the Justice League against Brainiac, and the Might Morphs battling Lord Zedd. The combination of them is a thrilling joy to read. I had been waiting for this series the minute I heard of it. I suppose for nostalgic reasons, as well as the art looking so attractive. We can expect that the next issue will begin the climax, and although predictable, during these struggling times, we can never get enough of team ups and taking down villains. We need it!

I highly recommend this crossover series. Watching two childhood superhero teams work together will cause a smile on your face, no doubt. A simple plot and conflict, but it doesn't mean I won't enjoy the ride. There are the classic lessons in this: love your family, respect your elders, and believe in yourself. All around, a good-hearted issue. Issue#5 comes out August 9th, 2017, a bit of a wait, but worth it for your collection!

Fantastic series to follow! I hope you have been collecting them because I foresee that this will be arare issue tofind in the future. Even my comic book shop sold out of this issue Wednesday morning. This series doesn't carry a complicated, mature plot, these big baddies have been portrayed much more vicious in other reiterations and arcs. This is a family friendlyseries for sure. It's a great crossover, filled with fun and teamwork, something the world needs right now.

Bruce standing up to the bullies of the Rangers at the end? Yes, please. I need more fatherly, grumpy Batdad moments! I adore the Mighty Morphs, and watching the League guide these teenagers left me with such warm feelings. I don't believe there's much to dislike unless you're more into torturous Joker-Batman moments (then check out Batman/The Shadow), this is certainly something light-hearted. I'm happy to have followed through their journey. I had been waiting for this series since its announcement back in 2016, and not regretting my wait at all. It's one for the collection for sure!

ConclusionIt's not bloody or crime-ridden, but cute. I'm really struggling to find a word other than this. The boys are becoming stronger friends. The series began with Damian and Jon at each other's throats (just like their fathers) but with the help of Batman and Superman, Robin and Super Boy are becoming a powerful team.

The plot is a little convoluted, I noticed this for many Trinity story-arcs. I followed the Pre-New 52 Trinity series from the early 2000s,and a major flaw was that several narratives didn't make sense. So much time-hopping. I really hope this doesn't occur for Rebirth Trinity. It's a relatively new universe, so it's alright that they made four Superman clash into each other (although, why Rebirth? Why?) It needs to flow better. I believe that the lack of history between Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne/Diana Prince is a significant reason why Trinity appears nonlinear. Until issue #6, the writers were doing a bang-up job with story plotting. It looks like they're on their way to tie things together. At the end of the issue, the dark Trinity appears; Red Hood, Artemis, and Bizzaro from Red Hood and the Outlaws! I'm stoked for the next adventure. Yet, if they give me more out-of-suit parties, dinners, and interactions, I won't complain. Bruce! Stop freaking out Clark with the bill!

As I said, definitely would recommend this issue if you're just starting off with Justice League. It's witty and lovable, perfectly befitting the joyful side of the characters. It's a low-key issue and isn't one to cause too much stress. With the revolutionary new Wonder Womanmaking great success, it's wonderful to see more women work in the DC-comic industry, and give the female superheroes narratives that stand-out. Both Jess and Wonder Woman's personalities were vibrant. In addition, to remind us that Ms. Lane is a journalist. A fun addition to your collection!

A few moments of brief smiles. The relationship between the Leaguers is strong, but I do not support the portrayal of Cruz and this unknown city. American narratives try and make a place look “exotic” and it turns out looking pretty disrespectful. Come on, I think Rebirth can do much better than this. Art is gorgeous, but it wasn't a strong attempt at being political, at least people are trying. I'd recommended someone grabbing an insight or two before they write about oppression and social structures and then try to deliver it with the exceptional art.

Art is spectacular! Mera is still badass and powerful. I appreciate Wonder Woman's connection to Mera, she tries to sympathize and I'm always excited to see women superheroes supporting each other, we can always see more. As well as super buff women? A-double-plus! However, it would be wonderful if the writers could become more familiar with each character. I'll still look forward to the next issue.

I've recently picked up this series, and I haven't fallen for it yet. Hitch is helping. If they continue on depicting great characterization and inclusion, I'm all for it. If you've read my last reviews (#23, #24) they were disappointing due to bad generalizations and stereotypes, Hitch's issue is clean and cut. There is a perfect amount of violence and action, it's hard to rip your eyes away. If you're looking into starting Justice League, you can certainly start here.

Issue #25 wasn't a bad piece of work! I was finding Hitch a wonderful writer, and he still must be. Writing new characters in a world with very stable, decades-old characters can be tricky. It disturbs a balance, so this issue felt a bit disconnecting. In addition, the art differs from modern versions of the Justice League. Greatly talented, however, an eerie combination as those older versions of heroes looked unrealistic. I hope this arc improves, the story has a great entertaining idea and a good team behind it, with the Justice League film around the corner, a spectacular story would wicked to have!

This issue feels empty, like realizing how much empty carbs you just ate finishing off a pizza alone. I'm sure it's entertaining to flip through, however, there's no meat pulling us in. I have to admit, I am losing hope for this series, I need something good to come out of it soon.
