In only two issues, Camp has made a case for why these two X-Men are the best men for pretty much any job, and the story has looked great while doing it.

This issue shows us there's a ton of potential to the concept of Earth's Mightiest Heroes serving as PI's. Not only that, it starts to fulfill that potential, and we hope this is just the beginning of a long run.

Overall, this is an extremely likable issue, with quite a bit to be engaged in long term. I'm on for the ride, despite its faults.

Spider-Man couldn't be scarier, thanks to the creative team here. New York couldn't be in more trouble, and it makes for a hell of a read.

The secret history of Superman's sidekick is an emotional untold tale. The plot is straightforward but the script and art point towards this being something special.

In the end of the world there's hope. This story is the perfect event, and I can't wait to see how it ends.

Here's the thing- this continues to be Marvel's best stand-alone miniseries in years. Can't miss.

Otto Octavius makes a splashy return in one of the best issues of the Beyond era to date. The writing is sharp and the art nails Doc Ock, though Spidey is a bit stiff. All-in-all though, it's a winner!

Through some non-linear storytelling and subverting expectations, the creative team puts in their best issue yet. It's gorgeous, with smart writing, and some interesting twists and turns for this series and the X-Men line as a whole.

The Warworld Saga continues in an unexpected way. This story isn't at all what it could have been, and may have been twenty years ago. This is a modern epic in the making and I'm excited to see what's next each month.

While the story might be above average, it's the small things that elevates it. There's a unique approach to the colors, shifts in the lettering that shows the duality of Peter Parker's physical and mental states. It's worth picking up just for the thoughtful approach to what it's conveying.

The conclusion of this volume of Superman gives us a young hero ready to step into some big shoes. It's a fan adventure, with solid art, but doesn't quite stick the landing in giving Jon Kent a jumping off point in his journey to become Superman.

Spurrier, unfortunately, writes Kurt Wagner " one of the most sexually open and understanding characters in X-canon " with extremely puritanical attitudes about sex and intimacy. It's so far out of character, especially for the elf who has multiple times been shown on panel wearing nothing but a stuffed animal version of himself.

This issue sets up The Last Annihilation and acts as an epilogue to the events of the Hellfire Gala. However it stands alone, as Ewing takes the time to do some great character progression complimented with exciting action. The art gets better by the issue too, truly making this a series to watch.

The Hellfire Gala is all over but for the afterparty. This is what comes next. Ewing gives the story the heart for readers to connect, and the art team does amazing things to give the story a grand scale.

New Mutants continues to be one of the best series Marvel is putting out right now. The rest of the line can learn a lot from Ayala's writing on this series. Lins's fill-in art is a blast and fits so well stylistically with the rest of the series.

The Flash continues its story with a fun chapter slingshotting Wally West throughout the Flash legacy and the West family. It's a lot of fun, and has the potential for setting up a great run to come.

This series continues to be a great display on not just talent but also what the title character's all about. This is Superman storytelling at its best, and is a must-read for any fan of not just Superman but DC Comics in general.

This highly anticipated issue is a sweeping epic that sets up hundreds of stories to come for the X-Men and the Marvel Universe as a whole. However, it's missing a personal, human touch that could really push it into territory from good to great.

There's no getting around this. This one-shot is a damn near perfect comic. The writing and art are both scary, but in their own unique ways. The story feels essential to the overallImmortal Hulkepic and even the back-up is great. A must-buy.

A few minor problems drag the issue down a bit. However it's still one of the most interesting entries in the X-Men line, with twists and turns that will readers engaged, and incredibly fun art.

The penultimate issue of series sees action, mystery and satisfying emotional conclusions for everyone on the team. The writing has great emotional depth, while the art team completely cuts loose. We need more comics like this.

The Guardians are in it deep as Doom tries to take control of the team. The writing is a blast, the art is getting more exciting and the team gets in it deep. It's a horrifying build up to something evil on the horizon (but also a hell of a lot of fun).

The series moves into much deeper territory than just the typical capes comic. The philosophical gets as deep as the building physical conflict. The art team puts in stunning work while the story gets way more interesting than a standard Batman comic.

The series continues to build to its endgame. This issue shows how each part of the creative team is essential to telling a story. Where the line art is good and generally solid, the colors really added a ton of nuance.

After a few interesting issues, we get into the meat of this run. The issue is tense, action packed, and understands its characters. The creative team are setting up some very cool things here.

An interesting story is bogged down by art that's a tonal mismatch and isn't up to the series' previous standards. It's not bad but it could be a lot better.

Incredibly, this remains the best current book in the X-line, and it does it with the most unexpected cast in comics. The hubris of Fabian Cortez is practically palpable, and his powerplay (and downfall) is worth every moment of the issue. I cannot recommend this series enough.

An exciting new direction brings new members, new challenges, and a great new artist. Even with the creative team shifts, this continues to be one of Marvel's most consistently great series. Plus, the creative team is able to pull off an ending that surprises even when we should have all seen it coming.

An issue that starts on the forgettable side turns into a fist-pumping thriller. The creative team downs pull any punches, and turns in one of the most exciting issues of the series to date. And it's all thanks to Joe Fixit.

The set-up for Superman's new era concludes here. It goes in an unexpected direction, that points to an interesting future, both near and distant for the Man of Steel.

Young Cable continues to get better and better. In this incredibly humanizing chapter we see a desperate young man grasping at straws as he tries to track down his greatest enemy while racing through a day in the life of Krakoa's citizens.

Superman and Batman's adventures are drawn into the multiverse! It's an exciting launch for the new creative team, as well as being one of the most unique and inventive issues that DC has put out in years.

A fantastic addition to DC's color-based tributes to its biggest characters. The five stories understand the Man of Steel in a way that's wholly unique, and a beautiful tribute to DC's greatest hero.

UltraMega builds a terrifying new world, a scary take on the classic hero versus giant monster. It's a frightening vision of the classic story, with gorgeous and horrifying visuals- an absolute must-read.

Overall, this has been a lot better event than weve seen in a long time. A little bit of it was rushed, it had moments of jumping around, but as an overall product, I really enjoyed it. It was a lot of fun and really just solid story.

With the wedding of Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle only a few issues away, this run is reaching a climax. I just hope that doesnt end Kings run, as its been top notch, with fantastic art throughout.
