Its also very difficult to tell what the overarching plot is actually going to be, were given numerous vague references to things but its unclear whats actually important. Im sure issue #2 will begin to answer those questions.

Dark Ages #2 is an excellent follow up to the almost perfect first issue. By virtue of being a second issue its not as new but it more than makes up for it by shining a spotlight on the fantastic supporting characters and building mystery to a boiling point by the final page.
