I find my rating for 2000AD doesnt change much, even though individual issues, and stories, vary enormously. Why is this? Because, for all its ups and downs, its still the galaxys greatest comic. Read Full Review
Things are turning very Icarus very quickly for Bud in Dredd. I'm obviously still rooting for Bud, despite the fact that I'm supposed to feel at least a little bad about it since he's cheating the system. I'm looking forward to the resolution, and hoping that after all this crap Bud's family ends up okay. "Breaking Bud" is obviously very Breaking Bad in this regard, albeit his wife isn't as" not-quite-likeable as some certain other television show wives. Read Full Review
-- JUDGE DREDD // BREAKING BUD: I'm starting to actually like this bad guy, he's an underdog sticking it to the man for his family. -- SLĂINE // PRIMORDIAL: Yeah, fuck obedience! I like this issue. I actually like a Slaine story, how about that? The brief analysis at the end is interesting too. -- FUTURE SHOCK // THE BIG HEIST: We get the mandatory twist that one expects from any good Future Shock. I like that this one was a heist, so it felt unique in contrast to the typically horror themed stories. -- THARG'S 3RILLERS // COMMERCIAL BREAK: Whoa, I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't that. Cool! -- STRONTIUM DOG // THE STIX FIX: Damn, you can't trust anyone! -- OVERALL: Great issue, no weaknesses!
