I don’t think anyone that’s going to read this issue is going to know what to expect from it until after reading it. I do wish the story was better constructed for this first issue since it leaves off in an awkward spot, but I’m still very curious to see how we get from shy and hidden Diamond to next to nothing crime-fighter Diamond. Also the mystery behind Onyx and the company’s existence in general has kept me interested in the series for sure. If you’re looking for something different this week, this is it.
