Maybe I'm being selfish, but this issue is the series I want. Sure, there wasn't a ton of action, but the whole thing so dang good and well-paced. Summary: The second arc of Justin Jordans Deep State continues to deliver on some exhilarating exposition while still finding a way to push the main mystery ahead. Its sad the two leads werent more involved but there were clear parallels drawn between the retired Control agent Anne Marie and our protagonist. Although it seems Annas warning about control may be too late, as our protagonist may already be in too deep. Its clear why Deep Secret was optioned for a TV series before the second issue was even released. This series has intrigue, mystery, and great lead characters that if in the right hands could easily carry a primetime drama slot. Read Full Review
