In a strange new dimension, many unexpected encounters guide Willow on the quest to return magic to her world. While she's increasingly better at keeping her darkest self at bay, her mystery companion—Marrak—encourages darkness, making Willow wary of his intentions while dependent on his knowledge of this magically abundant realm. Just how far down the path of volatile magic will she go to get what she wants? And whom might she find there?

Funny, frightening, freaky fantasy that will make you wonder why Willow wasn't in her own series long ago. Read Full Review

Im glad Dark Horse and Whedon have enough faith in Willow to give the witch her own mini-series. Theres nothing superfluous or contrived about Parkers storytelling, and everything that happens within the pages is blatantly relevant to the main narrative of Season 9. Thats all the fandom wants from these solo minis; and thats what Parker delivers. Issue #2 ends on a depressing note, and the readers are left to wonder what Willows next plan of action is, and how far shes willing to go to get what she wants. If this installment is any indication, next months issue is only going to up its game. Read Full Review

I'm glad that Dark Horse and Joss Whedon gave Willow this chance to shine. I don't think she needs her own book on a regular basis, as this miniseries gives her a focus for a while and following suit for other characters in similar series would be great. This book is a detour to achieve what seems to be building forBuffy Season 9 and I'm glad to have enjoyed it immensely. Read Full Review
