Dragon Age: Until We Sleep #1 is the perfect story for any Dragon Age fan ever, despite whether or not they have ever read a comic before. The only thing it can be faulted for is the fact that some readers may see #1 and think this is a new story. There is an extensive recap page at the beginning, but readers may be a bit lost without the previous two series for reference. As I said, the series is perfect for Dragon Age fans, but the emotional attachment to the characters and the story will be greater felt by an established fan. With how well everything is done, it will probably be able to sway a comic reader with no previous experience with the series to give it a try. There is so much about this comic that are done right, that these few faults are very menial. As far as Dragon Age lore goes, this series is shaping up to be a masterpiece for the DAU. While you're at it, make sure to take a look at the recent interview I had with David Gaider about this comic trilogy HERE. Read Full Review

Front Towards Gamer - Chaz King Mar 27, 2013

With the slight imperfections in mind, Dargon Age: Until We Sleep is a worthy addition to the Dragon Age saga. It is as exciting and interesting as any of the main story lines. With the series' lead writer at the wheel it is clear why that is so. The artworkis beautiful and eye catching and portrays action magnificently. If you are interested in the characters or the fiction of the Dragon Age universe, you should give a thought to picking up Dragon Age: Until We Sleep, if only to keep an eye on Varric. See, now what did I tell you. I was a full blown hoot-nanny with all the fixings. I’m serious. I really like this book and this has been one hell of a series. I could be crazy but this is the best that Chad Hardins art has looked. As for the masterful scribe that is David Gaider, well let’s just say he’s doing what he does best and telling an entreating story. He also continues to add such interesting little nuggets of back story about the characters and the universe that will make any DA fan smile. So if you still haven’t jumped on board this great series than shame on you. Now that’s over with, go and buy this book! Read Full Review

Major Spoilers - Brandon Dingess Mar 31, 2013

This is shaping up to be a quality story, but despite that it's still looking likely to be your typical high-fantasy tale. If you're a huge fan of "Dragon Age," then you're going to want to take a look at this, if not , then it's going to read as generic, but that's not knocking the quality. I give it 3 stars.
