The writing for the issue is good. It does an awesome job of bringing forth the emotions that make us feel for the characters and bring forth attachment. It is really nice. I have one issue with this because it feels really rushed in this issue. It doesn't give us a full level of attachment that I wanted because it moving so quickly. It takes away and distracts which isn't great. However, there is some fantastic moments, that bring it back. Read Full Review
Halo: Escalation #7 is a good starting point for what is to come from this series. Brian Reed is someone who knows what direction to take the story and knows how to write these characters in a way that appeals to Halo fans whether new or old. Where the next issue takes us will be something Halo fans should want to stick around for as it should hopefully make sense of where Chief ends up now in recent time. Read Full Review
Halo has done a great job at tapping into emotions in the past, but the timing was off this time. But maybe those who have a less stony heart than I will have all the feels. (Ugh I feel so dirty for writing “feels.”) Read Full Review
