    This series is off to a strong start, but time will tell if it's about Harry's latest mystery or about the government closing in on him. It should be good either way. If you haven't checked out this series yet, this isn't a great spot to start. Yes, there's a recap page, but Hogan didn't feed all that info into the story like he's done previously.     With great dialog and plot buildup, the gritty, noir miniseries is off to a great start. There was also a little fun in the story to make for an entertaining read. Like any good mystery, you need the introduction and the build-up before the crime and the investigation. As this is a miniseries, its a solid start. Read Full Review

    Resident Alien is a creator-driven gem. A new reader can jump aboard in this 4th story arc and follow along just fine. But the previous three arcs are readily accessible in collected editions and are there for people who want to get in on this quirky character-driven sci-fi mystery from the beginning.     Resident Alien: the Man with No Name #1 is a good start to a non-capes genre book. It will serve those well that are always in the hunt for this kind of stuff; the not-quite-mainstream that seeks to do something different than tights and eyebeams. In that vein, I like where this is heading. I just wish some more of the backstory would get fleshed out. But if you are ok with that being a gap, you should feel comfortable jumping right in. And I'm sure this will be a good as a trade, also. Read Full Review
