The problem X has is that if he doesnt kill his enemies, they really come back to haunt him. If he kills all of his adversaries, who will come back to seek revenge? Vigilantes with this M.O. always have this difficulty. Its with a morbid curiosity Ill keep turning the pages to see exactly how many bodies pile up before X fulfills his mission. Read Full Review

Unleash The Fanboy - Russell Johnson Nov 12, 2013

Swierczynski does a good job showing innocence in Ruidoso's team but also gives them enough smarts and chemistry to make them more than formidable in the long run. Glimpses of that starts to show itself here and by the end Ruidoso will have leverage that Lt. Setter only could dream of but will put them in the cross hairs of X. As we've seen before that's not a healthy place to be. While I was hoping for a little more punch X #7 still hits the mark and puts things in motion for a longer story arc and return to the brutality that X possesses. Overall a solid issue where X marks the spot. Read Full Review

Comic Bastards - Samantha Roehrig Nov 14, 2013

I think the weak point of this issue and maybe some more issue will be our villain. Don't get me wrong, Setter is a good villain, BUT he isn't great. We got a peak of his evils beforehand, so you would think each issue would just build on that and show us how cruel this man really is. Reading this issue, I wasn't even convinced Setter was a villain, because I still haven't seen him do anything. I am interested to see where his character goes. With Berkshire, it almost seemed personal with X. Berkshire is such an evil dude. I mean he turns into a total pig! So why have Setter be so lame right out of the gate. I was hoping for some big guns being thrown at the readers soon, so we can all hate Setter and once again vote for X to rip off his face. Read Full Review
