If you're already reading Batman, you should pick this up, absolutely. If you're interested in Batman and/or the latest Robin, and don't mind being teased a bit by the finer points of the story, then this is perfect for you too. It's a great book for comic fans, which is the point of comic books. It just bothers me to see an issue come so closely to being something special, and hold itself back on purpose. Great book overall, though. Read Full Review

This is a really interesting one-shot that reveals a lot about Robin. The creative team has done a seriously epic job of writing and illustrating a story that leaves an impression. When I think about Batman, Robin’s name comes to mind naturally. If you’re the same way, you can’t afford to miss out on this impressive one-shot. Read Full Review

The characterization is rock-solid, but this issue doesn't have much new or interesting to say with Tim. Other than a few superficial elements, there's no reason this story couldn't be taking place in just about any incarnation of the Batman universe. Read Full Review

    Batman-News - Jay Yaws Nov 25, 2015

Passably entertaining, but lacking much substance, this story is plagued with weird timeline issues and a threadbare plot. Tim Drake has been having a rough time of it on the characterization front in pretty much any book he's in, and this one isn't any different. Rocha, Henriques, and Schwager turned in some nice work, but it almost feels like Tomasi is out of steam. A late-game misfire in a series that started remarkably strong. Read Full Review

Weird Science - Reggie Hemingway Nov 28, 2015

TimDrake comes across as wooden and one-dimensional in the video games, and Tomasidoes his job to bring that dullness to the comic book page. I imagine Drake isa vapid, douchebag Jersey Shore-typecharacter that fights for justice because fuckin' A dude, someone's got to bethe hero. What the fuck, Killer Croc, you lookin' at my girl?! I'll flex mytribal tattoo and knock yer ass into next week, brah! You're lucky Batman'sholding me back because I would wreck you, dude, so don't try it. Tim Drake, never fake, your face will break hahahaha nah jus' playing bro pass me a Coors Light. Read Full Review
