    IGN - Dan Phillips May 6, 2009

All in all, though, Battle for the Cowl: The Network manages to tell an entertaining story that also succeeds in filling in the crevices of the main series' cluttered plot. Despite a few significant flaws, I'd call it another pleasant surprise. Read Full Review

Fairly entertaining, albeit predictable read. Quite satisfied with the purchase even though I know this isn't the best book I'll ever read. Read Full Review

The Comic Addiction - Michael Smith May 6, 2009

In the end, the issue was entertaining but again not necessary as an overall part of Battle for the Cowl. I would have expected a little more from Fabian Nicieza but I also understand the editors have limited the amount of detail and story that can be told in these one-shots as to not spoil the end of Battle for the Cowl. However, if you dont fall into the completionist category, I would say this is one worth skipping. Read Full Review

Nicieza, Calafiore, and Kramer try their best here, but I think in many ways the biggest problem isn't what they're doing, but the set-up of the event itself. And in the end, that's a shame, because this could have been a lot of fun. Read Full Review

Comics Bulletin - Bill Frye May 11, 2009

Overall, this book is only for the diehard Batman reader who must know everything that is happening in the Bat-verse. Otherwise, I recommend steering clear of this book and looking elsewhere for your Dark Knight fix. Read Full Review

Comic Book Bin - Koppy McFad May 12, 2009

Maybe this story could have worked better with fewer characters. As it stands, many of the characters in the story came off as uninteresting. This was a good effort but they just overreached. Read Full Review
