I really enjoyed this issue. Even if you aren't following the title, it's a great doneinone that still has threads that tie into past issues and lead into future ones. Worth picking up just to know the origin of all those crazy amusement parks and rundown villain hideouts. Read Full Review

The Weekly Crisis - Ryan Schrodt Sep 17, 2009

Much like Blackest Night, Streets of Gotham was in desperate need of a pickmeup this week after a few interesting, but ultimately mediocre issues. If this issue is any indication of what's to come, this won't be a problem this series will see again anytime soon. Paul Dini's amazing character development, Andreyko finally finding the right pace for writing a cofeature, and great work from both art teams came extremely close to propelling this issue to the top spot on the Rankings and helped make this a book you absolutely should not miss. Originally I thought Streets of Gotham would best be sold as a comic for Dini fans only. Now I'm seeing this as a comic that anyone who loves the wide Gotham mythos and it's deep character history should absolutely not miss out on this amazing comic. It's the best current Batman ongoing in my opinion and in no way should be missed. Read Full Review
