    It's also unfortunate that Magno just happened to return for an issue written by Jimmy Palmiotti and Justin Gray, by far the worst and most awkward (there's that word again!) of Countdown's dialogue writers. I would normally not complain too much when a group of characters stand around worrying aloud amongst themselves when they should be, you know, doing something, but when these two scribes handle such a scene, it's impossible not to eventually cringe.     Countdown to Final Crisis #8 was an average at best read. I certainly wouldn't recommend wasting your money on this issue. This isn't going to be such an incredible ending that I would urge people to hop onto this title so late in the game. Read Full Review
