I really liked this issue. It seems that I can simply turn my brain off when I read an issue of this series and just drift through all of the senseless violence without having to really think too hard about stuff. Every now and then, it's good to have a comic like that to just veg out on. Add finally finding out what was in the suitcase, and the fact that the contents actually could lead to something interesting, and I'm a happy camper. See, I don't ask for too much! Read Full Review

Thanks to new developments in this issue, Deathstroke is nicely carving out a place for itself in the New 52. It has more than just a badass main character to rest on now. Read Full Review

Higgins has apparently made a successful attempt at turning Deathstroke around: the action, while not as fast-paced or prevalent in this issue, to the point where some would say there should have been more action, was enjoyable. The storyline could have progressed more by omitting some unnecessary action, but then it would have unnecessarily taken away the great action sequence of this issue! Hopefully, this trend can continue into the next issue of Deathstroke along with more plot development, more depth and hopefully even more impressive artwork than the standard art we are being given now. It is not the worst book in the world but there were a lot of great books that came out this. This is the basic nuts and bolts to a plot finality you saw coming on the first page is something you can pass on. If you're a Deathstroke fan, I suggest reading it at the store and save your money for something else. Read Full Review
