Comics Bulletin - Kevin Powers Aug 13, 2007

This is by far one of the greatest Green Lantern storylines ever. It is the definitive Green Lantern story of the modern age and definitely one of the best big events you can read right now. This issue continues to build on momentum and excitement that is already off the charts. Geoff Johns continues to make this Green Lantern fan very happy, and I hope it continues into the future. Like you had to ask, this is my Pick of the Week. Read Full Review

Green Lantern #22 was awesome. This Sinestro Corps storyline continue to impress me and only gets better and better with each issue. For me, this is the big event of the year between everything else that Marvel and DC has going on. If you haven't hopped onto this train then do yourself a favor and get on as soon as possible. I don't think you will be disappointed. Green Lantern is worth every penny of its cover price and right now is hotter than anything else on the market. Read Full Review

Amon Sur wanted to be a Green Lantern like his father but the Power Ring chose Hal instead. After failing to kill and replace Hal he was drafted by the Sinestro Corps. Cyborg Superman's distaste for life gives rise to his desire for the eternal peace of his own death and Parallax creates strife because he feeds on fear. Johns clearly shows that everyone has a different reason for their actions and the overall story is richer for it. Reis continues to impress with his fight scenes and especially his splash pages. The page with the invading Lost Lanterns is particularly exciting. Chapter three may be over but t Read Full Review

If this story ends up the way I think it will with Kyllax and Hal deciding the outcome, dont consider me surprised or disappointed. Its a story that will never cease to become old. I just wish we were told the truth about what the story was from the beginning. Read Full Review
