This issue is a perfect penultimate chapter to a saga of this magnitude and quality. Theres a cliffhanger because its unknown what exactly will happen. Solicitations suggest that the Green Lanterns survive, but everything changes and I cant wait to see how this all plays out. Geoff Johns and Ivan Reis are an amazing team and have made this saga one of the finest examples of comic book storytelling in a very long time. This saga has truly eclipsed other big events of recent years and even if you arent a Green Lantern fan, its one of the best superhero storylines of all time. Obviously, this is my Pick of the Week. This comic still gets a must buy from me and you'd be a fool to pass it up. I may not agree with what Johns decided to do with the story at this stage of the game, but it's still a damn good book and one of the best on the market. Read Full Review

Comic Book Revolution - Rokk Krinn Oct 12, 2007

Green Lantern #24 was another superb read. Johns keeps the ball rolling as he throws more twists and turns at the reader with this Sinestro War storyline. Right now there is no other title on the market that can match the intensity and excitement of Green Lantern. If you still haven't given this title a try, then definitely do so. The Sinestro War storyline is an amazing big event story. Green Lantern is absolutely worth the cover price. Read Full Review

Let us take some time to look at this from a bit of a different perspective. Arguably Superman is the most powerful Meta-Human in the DC Universe while it has been stated that the Green Lantern ring is the most powerful weapon. So what happens when you get a Superboy, half a Superman and a Yellow Lantern together? A lot of trouble for the planet Earth. Then to top it all off they bring the Anti-Monitor? How are the heroes supposed to stop such an incredible foes? Read Full Review
