Comics Bulletin - Kevin Powers May 23, 2008

So its a bit tough to really rate this issue. As an issue of Justice League it falls quite short of the mark but as a lead-in for Final Crisis its actually a great issue. McDuffies writing is strong and coherent and the artwork is great. Unfortunately, given the caliber of last issue and the feeling that this issue is just an advertisement, it does disappoint a little bit. Theres also a bit of a continuity problem because Salvation Run has yet to conclude. Justice League of America should be about the team and their relationships, not about the next big event. Comic Book Bin - Koppy McFad May 28, 2008

The art is well-drafted, making for a very comprehensible story that is easy to follow even if it largely consists of dialogue. Comic Book Revolution - Rokk Krinn May 23, 2008

Justice League of America #21 was a solid read. If you are a fan of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman then you will definitely enjoy this issue. The strength of this issue is the wonderful first half of the issue dedicated to the big three. I hope that the upcoming weekly title Trinity can capture this type of dynamic between the big three. The Weekly Crisis - Kirk Warren May 21, 2008

Nothing Final Crisis related here, despite the cover's heavy focus on Libra. You won't miss a thing and I can't see this Human Flame guy going anywhere in the future, so no big loss missing his appearance either. Read Full Review
