Overall, this is a solid issue. It might be a little confusing to keep up with, the pacing is great, as is the language used. Characters interact very well, with obvious cause-and-effect relationships, and it’s a really well-rounded issue. This Mortal Kombat X prequel is gains some steam as the second major storyline wraps up and several characters reach a big turning point.
