Still, Pasarins artwork is very good and does remind me a bit of Morales. Its important for a series like this one about characters that are not important and cannot hold their own series, to look good. Although some of them, like Owlman dont do much. Read Full Review

While reading this, it occurred to me that this was the fifth issue of this storyline, meaning next month when this storyline wraps, we'll have invested half a year into reading it "- if you've been here since the beginning. That said, this issue deftly tucks up the corners of the various storylines and begins to put a bow on this story. With only one issue left before this storyline wraps, Tomasi has his work cut out for him if he wants to turn this plot into something comprehensible. As it stands now, what he has is a bunch of dangling threads that are neither interesting in their own right nor woven together in a satisfactory manner. I do hope he pulls it off, though. Tomasi's a talented writer with a knack for these characters and a strong core concept, and it'd be a shame to see him kick his run off with a complete miss. Read Full Review

Of all the titles that have released thus far under the "Batman Reborn" banner, Outsiders #19 is easily the weakest. Sure, Peter Tomasi has the ingredients brewing that could potentially lead to a epic plot inter-mixing various Batman and DCU A-listers, but he's unfortunately still too busy setting the groundwork instead of moving the plot forward. And for this being the sixth part in a storyline, it's too long a time to count on comic reading folk to stay interested. People who are by far the most anxious fans on the planet. Read Full Review

There's great art here, but some pretty flawed story-telling that gets in the way of the story. Read Full Review
