    With its soft 'T' rating and its permissive $2.99 price tag, Prez dares anyone curious enough to pick up the book and find its progressive message wrapped around a beating heart. What makes that so crazy, possibly even subversive, is that it's published by a corporate-savvy monolith like DC Comics. (Whoever had the chutzpah to give this project a "go" deserves a raise, and since we're throwing well-earned money around, so do Mark Russell, Ben Caldwell, Jeremy Lawson, Travis Lanham, Brittany Holzherr, and Marie Javins.     With the amount of sophistication on each page, it is still surprising that Prezis not a book from Image, or BOOM!, or even an imprint like Vertigo, but a big corporate machine like DC Comics. It was a leap of faith by the powers that be that has paid off in spades. Though sales have been shaky, there is no doubt that Prez is one of the best comics published today. Read Full Review

    This issue finally picks up on storyline, light on satire and establishing where Beth is going forward. This issue is excellent, but it is upsetting that I am not sure how any of this will wrap up next issue, I really doubt we will get that second arc. I loved Beth's World Apology Tour, Tina looked to be very promising. This is a great issue, but knowing this is ending brought me down. Read Full Review
