In "To Be a R.E.B.E.L.," part 3, Adam Strange plays peacemaker between Vril Dox's band of rebellious space cops and the entire Green Lantern Corps and negotiations aren't going well at all. Let's hope Lobo can stay on his best behavior . . .yeah, right! Guest-starring Green Lantern John Stewart

As always, this was one of the highlights of my month. This was a very good comic, although Dox's plans not coming to fruition kept this a very good read, as opposed to a great read. I would have preferred it if Dox could have discredited the GLC some more, but I guess that wasn't a realistic wish. I loved the reveal that Dox had put his son up to creating the weapon, because that just hammers home the point that Dox doesn't play by the rules, and that he was willing to endanger an entire star system to see that the Lanterns get humbled. The ending, with the reemergence of Starro was great, and leaves me salivating for the next issue. By this point, I would EASILY call this the best title coming out of DC today. Read Full Review

Supergirl Comic Box Commentary - Anj Dec 14, 2010

I will reiterate how much I loved the tragic origins of Astrild Stormdaughter. I think she has a lot of potential as a character. So I was glad to see her again. So overall, this was a very good story about Brainiac and the lengths he will go to prove a point. But really, this was just as much a Green Lantern story. I seem to say it every month but I'll say it again. When was the last time that Wildstar, Amon Hakk, Bounder, Ciji, or Xylon done anything of note in this book? When will this book be a purely R.E.B.E.L.S. book again? Read Full Review

It's the last few pages of "R.E.B.E.L.S." that make me think we'll start getting something more interesting before long. Finding out Dox's new secret weapon, or the plans of the invaders of Psion, both point towards a good next story. And, with any luck, some of the other characters in the title will get to do something in it. For now, it's just average quality; for an issue of "R.E.B.E.L.S." I must admit I expect a bit more. Here's to a return to form next month. Read Full Review

Weekly Comic Book Review - Minhquan Nguyen Dec 14, 2010

Were R.E.B.E.L.S. a Green Lantern title, this issue would deserve solid marksbut its not. The series continues to suffer from a lack of direction and conflicts of cosmic proportion, exacerbated by uninspired art. Its really too bad, since there is so much potential in the cast and their line of work, but theyve done little so far to merit special attention. Read Full Review
