Rotworld is staking a claim to be the best crossover I've ever read. It has three amazing creative teams at the top of their game and delivering stellar issue after stellar issue. After a long wait, this issue reaches and then exceeds my high expectations, incredible job to the entire team involved, and I can't wait for more! Read Full Review

It would be the deepest blow to you if after a year of unbelievable success, Snyder's most ambitious storyline failed. Let's be grateful he's managed to push himself out of the mire into much more desirable territory, with help from some amazing art. Read Full Review

    IGN - Poet Mase Nov 7, 2012

With the foundation already there, Swamp Thing #14 instills an epic sweep to the Rotworld story, giving it blockbuster potential. If I have a gripe, it's that the story is over too soon. The engines of adventure roar to life here, but the final panels appear just as I was ready to plunge into the breach alongside Alec and Boston. This is, of course, a note of praise masquerading as criticism, and that last panel of this book has me more excited than ever for issue #15. Take home a copy of this week's Swamp Thing offering, and let yourself get wrapped up in the beginning of a thrilling saga. Read Full Review

So Rotworld continues to chug along as an enjoyable mini-event book, with some clever storytelling and exceptional artwork, as per usual. Despite annoying comparisons with Animal Man, this issue is very good, finishing the set-up for the storyline and gives us two clear issues to sort out everything that's left to deal with — and it's a hell of a lot. But with Snyder and Paquette at the helm, you know it's going to be well worth the ride. Read Full Review

"Rotworld" is in full swing. This is only the second chapter of the Swamp Thing side of the saga, but so much groundwork has been provided for the story that it feels more established. A large portion of that is due to the fact that Snyder threads through characters and concepts from his entire run and beyond. The final page of this issue is proof of that. "Rotworld" is familiar and creepy, unexpected and exciting. Read Full Review

Comics: The Gathering - BRONKO Nov 10, 2012

Leaving Ivy with the Parliament, Alec and Boston take off via a beautifully handcrafted leaf boat towards Gotham City in pursuit of a weapon to defeat the Rot. Boston knows a guy. Alec says something about a quiet cruise about one panel before a full on attack from Rot team. Things are heating up in this swampy adventure and I will keep riding along with it. I’d say this is a heavy-handed must read. Seriously, go get it. Read Full Review
