    With those minor scruples out of the way (I'm not even going to get into the question of how the hell Simone's Paradise Island fits in with the one currently occupied by Granny Goodness in Countdown), it pleases me to say that Simone finally has the Wonder Woman franchise back on track, and her re-imagining of Diana's origin promises to add some much-needed depth to this iconic character's mythology.
