For those who enjoy CHAOS! EVIL ERNIE, CHASTITY, PURGATORI, and the rest of DYNAMITE's revived CHAOS universe, this will be a great series. If you do not know EVIL ERNIE, this is a great jumping on point. For those who like supernatural/occult action series, this will be a fun ride. If you like HACK/SLASH, NANCY IN HELL, HELLBOY, JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK, or similar titles, you will probably really like this. Despite the fact that he is a reanimated demonic revenant and the most prolific serial killer in human history, EVIL ERNIE is an immensely likable character. Read Full Review

Over all this was a great start and I can't wait to see where this story arc goes. It has already started out better than the first Evil Ernie series put out by Dynamite and is taking Evil back to the way he used to be. I'm looking forward to seeing some of the banter between Ernie and Smiley after the events of the Chaos series. I hope this series continues this way and doesn't end with a lackluster, rushed ending like Chaos did. Read Full Review

I mean, if youre not familiar with the story of Ernest Fairchild inEvil Ernie #1, then.. its going to become clear you need to have read the origin of the character. Moving on, Twisted Sister frontman sonJesse Blaze Sniders action was decent for the issue. Death, as beheadings, blood in this ish are totally present and done tasteful. Entertaining, was the fact that there was female hacker talking to the totally carbon copied style Hell Cube from (Hellraisermovie) and what happens from there, well, lets just say I kept laughing. Towards the end you see an attractively illustrated Fem Demon drawn byJason Craig talking to her minions, with the looks as if the gang will eventually get back together. Ernie, looks like you have family planning a visit. Just make sure they are welcomed home properly. Read Full Review

Evil Ernie is back and better than ever! The Hell scene showing Ernie getting tortured I could have totally done without, but having Ernie reunited with Smiley is total bliss! Can't wait for installment #2!
