The Legend winds up his history lesson, leaving Hughie not quite as enlightened as he might have hoped. A-Train makes a move on Annie, while the Homelander throws a tantrum- and a lot more besides.

Butcher, meanwhile, makes a discovery all his own - one that will have far-reaching consequences for our little crew, as "I Tell You No Lie, G.I." concludes with a bang.

    I really hope Ennis has gotten this sort of metatextual world building out of his system with this arc. I'm enjoying the story of Hughie and his mates far too much to have to sit through more awkward explanations of how this whole mess reflects both the history of the real world and the comic medium itself.
