How far will a man go to save his son? Charlie Wormwood has a pretty normal life - a house, a wife, a job, and a kid. With his son sick, he begins treading a dangerous path to make things right. Teaching in prison gives him many "opportunities" but what problems will he create as he walks into the prison of darkness for his family?

Multiversity Comics - Drew Bradley Oct 3, 2014

The pacing, the dialogue, the characters, the moody shading and evocative facial expressions " everything about this book makes me wonder why these creators aren't household names yet. After just one issue, this book has so much going for it that it's already earned multiple spots in my best of 2014 list. Read Full Review

    Rhymes With Geek - Ben Penfold-Marwick Oct 1, 2014

The title tells us that Wormwood is going to be damned. While we only see the seeds of that here, it is a tense and captivating introduction. This first issue reads a lot like the first season of Breaking Bad; a smart, innocent man turning to crime when it seems necessary. It's certainly a page turner and I'll be keen to see what happens next. Read Full Review

Whats missing in this story, unfortunately, is a sense of itself. Granted, its a copy of a copy of a copy, sure, and thats fine, but it never catches hold! Even the art itself, byChee(Tag) the simple lines and muted grey hues convey a vague overall atmosphere. Hopefully in the next few issues readers will be treated to a break into act three rather than the act two holding pattern thatThe Damnation of Charlie Wormwoodseems stuck in.The Damnation of Charlie Wormwood Read Full Review
