Comic Bastards - Nick Philpott Jul 2, 2014

This first arc of Dexter's Lab has been extremely satisfying on the merits of its story and its art, beyond the potential for nostalgia. Now that there's been a solid introductory arc, I'm excited to see where Fridolfs and Jampole are going to take the franchise. They've got a little lead on popular opinion; they've got their street cred. What kind of hijinks will Dexter and Dee Dee get into next? I don't know, but I'll definitely be there to find out. Comic Book Therapy - Cody "The Thorverine" Ferrell Jul 2, 2014

Dexter's Laboratory ends on a high note. Fridolfs and company tell a nice short story about Dexter and Dee Dee and their rather complicated relationship. Fans of the original series will love the big finale. Read Full Review

The four-part mini-series comes to a close with brother and sister setting the universe right and traveling home together. They even do a little dancing. I've enjoyed the mini-series from writer Derek Fridolfs and artist Ryan Jampole who crafted an original story that still fits the look and tone of the television show. Dexter's advnetures may be coming to an end here but he'll be part of IDW's big summer event (along with several other current and former Cartoon Network properties) – Super Secret Crisis War! Worth a look. Read Full Review

Dexter's Laboratory #4 is a good conclusion that does what it needs to do in order to wrap up its narrative without tarnishing the reputation of a classic Cartoon Network icon. Recommended. Read Full Review

    IGN - Jesse Schedeen Jul 3, 2014

The writing gets a little sappy as Dexter reaches his profound realization. But there's enough humor and zaniness to offset the sappy stuff. Read Full Review

Word Of The Nerd - Lucas Carver Jul 5, 2014

With snappy writing, bold colors, and loud lettering, Dexter's Laboratory delivers a great adventure overall. While I would've wanted to see some more variation in the art, it does a great job of recreating the show's characters as if it was an actual episode of the show. If you're like me, and grew up during Cartoon Network's golden days and want to relive some memories with your favorite spectacled autodidact, look no further than this comic. It's pretty good.
