Robert Atkins knows how to draw Snake Eyes in both his silent somber and total kick-ass moments so well that I don't want to see anyone else's take on him for a long time. It's hard to get both right and Atkins seems to do it effortlessly here. He even looks cool in his semi-ridiculous Hoth gear. The story, from Chuck Dixon, ain't too shabby either. Must-read. After a wonderful build up in the final pages, the cliffhanger left me somewhat disappointed. It's not horrible, but the scene ends too abruptly. It would have been more effective if Chuck Dixon had given us just one more panel, or maybe even taken away a few and left us somewhere else entirely. Either way it's a decent start for the book and fans of Snake Eyes won't be disappointed. Read Full Review
It didn't have to be like this. The G.I. Joe Movie Prequel comics were very well-written and superior to the ongoing G.I. Joe series in certain respects. Unfortunately, though this book may be similarly conceived, it accomplishes nothing the Movie Prequels managed. Read Full Review
