From IDW Publishing and Boom! Studios, two titanic powers collide in a cross-company collaboration event you never expected . . . but makes complete sense!

Godzilla battles the Megazord . . . and no matter who wins, the world will be at great peril from the combined threat of the Xilien invaders and Rita Repulsa! And if a giant robot and a giant monster weren't cataclysmic enough, how about Gigan-a cybernetic space monster ready to fight them both?

Written by superstar scribe Cullen Bunn (Godzilla: Cataclysm) and illustrated by artist extraordinaire Freddie Williams II (Batman/TMNT)!

The Supreme Commanders goals are much smaller than Ritas.  Where Rita wants to conquer the whole multiverse, the Supreme Commander just wants to mine all of Earths resources to take back to his world.   The two are an interesting contrast, with Ritas loudness, quick temper and impulsive decisions a stark contrast to the Supreme Commanders quieter, calmer, more cerebral approach. We get to see the Rangers in and out of costume throughout the issue, including one fun scene where they hijack a damaged Planet X UFO and clumsily fly it to the mothership. Read Full Review

This comic is all spectacle and that's perfectly fine. That's all it wants to be and that's all it needs to be to be a fun ride. Read Full Review

There's still a lot of fun to be had and the artwork is worth the price of admission alone, but if issue #3 can recapture that same balance the first issue had, we'll be in for one hell of a great time. Read Full Review

From the mouth of a seven-year old: Super fun; there were so many monsters and battles! Even the talking was ok. Great art!

A pretty fin lottle crossover event. I dig it

Some of the best moments of my life were taking my favorite toys and setting them up for big battles. There was no story behind it, the battles didn’t make sense, it was just fun. This is that in comic book form.

Not bad. As a kid the Megazord battling the monster of the day always reminded me of Godzilla against whoever it was him vs., so it's interesting seeing them battling each other, and eventually side-by-side against each other's monster foes. And we all know before this will be over they'll definitely have to tackle King Ghidorah. Can't wait till he joins in.
