Stash My Comics - Leo Johnson Aug 22, 2013

For new readers, this could be an interesting title. The book could easily be read to a child that has absolutely no idea who Kiss is, but it can also appeal to their longtime fans or just readers in general. While it would seem to have something a niche audience, there's really a lot more flexibility for the book, thanks to how well put together it is. Read Full Review

KISS has always been a franchise that's been seen as larger than life by their fans, and past comics have always tried to reflect that. But "KISS Kids" is a refreshing, pleasant, and unassuming comic that proves smaller can be better, and readers of all kinds, whether young or old, fans or not, can readily lick it up. Whether you're into KISS, trying to get your kid into KISS, or you're bored, KISS KIDS is an incredibly fun read for all ages. The creative team on this book is fantastic, and while it's a bit jarring that these stories are only one to two pages long, in the end it's a very strong all ages book. However, you don't have to be a KISS fan to appreciate this title. If you're looking for a fun read, then this is the book for you. Read Full Review

My fellow Geeks and Ungrowups, KISS KIDS #1 is definitely a great way to get your kid into the world of comics and KISS. This comic is perfect for the KISS fan's children! It doesn't do much for me…and rightly so. If I told you that I absolutely loved this comic, you'd think that I'd lost my mind (being over 30). I did love this comic, but not for me. I loved this comic for my children and other children out there. I think this is a great way to get your kid into positive genres and comics. This is a great bonding opportunity…ok, I think I'm rambling. Here's the deal. KISS KIDS is an age appropriate comic that would be worth the time and money to pick up for you and your kid to enjoy!—RLA Read Full Review

So if you are a Kiss fan with a child, pick up this book and laugh at all the great nods to the Greatest band in the world. Everyone else, be aware that you might not like the book since you don't know why something like The Demon's boots eating things would be funny. Read Full Review
