But Why Tho? - Adrian Mar 28, 2019

As I mentioned in my review ofStar Wars Adventures: Issue18, I still think waiting for the larger volumes is the way to go for this series. I will admit that I enjoyed both of these stories much more than the previous issues. Two engaging battle droid focused tales. The visuals on the first tale are fine, but the second tale is like an epiphany for Star Wars comics. IDW would be wise to get Nick Brokenshire back to this book or, better yet, give him a miniseries. Read Full Review

The comic also includes a back-up story in “Tales from Wild Space: The Big March” showcasing the further adventures of cartographer Emil Graf and his crew. Those looking for short Star Wars tales, without jumping into the longer current Marvel Comics arcs, may enjoy themselves in the latest issue of the anthology issue. For fans. Read Full Review

Had the second story been as effective as the first, it could have been a rock solid issue, but the backup adventure offered audiences little excitement. Read Full Review

Comics: The Gathering - NumidianPrime Mar 28, 2019

Overall, the issue has a solid, if not groundbreaking, primary story and a less-than-great backup story. I’m excited for the next issue featuring a primary story about Anakin and Yoda as well as apparently a backup story about Barriss Offee. I was surprised that Barriss would be chosen for a backup, considering her arc in this era, but there’s a lot of potential there and I’m looking forward to seeing what they do with her.
