Things are heating up and this arc has been really well paced and built up with new and effective art from Wachter. I'd be more than happy for him to fill in whenever my boy Mateus Santolouco whenever he's taking a break from the series. All in all a high quality issue this month and let's be honest, what have we come to expect over the last wee while. The team is on fire and long may it continue. Read Full Review

Overall, its great to see the storyline which was set in motion all the way back in issue #50 finally starting to pay some real dividends, and with what could potentially be viewed as a massive paradigm shift taking place in this issue, Im genuinely excited to see how this fascinating yet uncomfortable situation is going to play out. IDW ongoing TMNT series is an actual comic that when things happen that they actually have ramifications and affect the characters for the long term. This has been a great arc for the characters growth and changes of the characters, this will really affect the dynamic of the book going on. It might be too early to say this, but it certainly feels like IDW Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has fully returned to form. It's also nice having absolutely no idea what's going to happen next. Read Full Review

And so the Splinter empire grows. Master Splinter has gone over the edge and there may be no coming back from here. I still suspect that the Rat King is exerting some unseen influence, but Splinter explains his motivations and, given the stability that growing his empire will create, it may be a case of the ends justifying the means. It won't end here though, things will surely escalate further and, as if the turtles haven't been dealt a serious emotional blow already, I have a feeling that the burden of halting Splinter's momentum will fall to their shoulders.

HOLY CRAP!!! was this issue emotionally POWERFUL!!!! . . . . . . Kudos to the writers and team for a VERY satisfying conclusion to this story-arc!!! . . . . . . . . now it feels like we will be TRULY seeing the effects of Splinter and the Turtles taking over the Foot Clan back in IDW Tmnt issue #50. . . . . . what i love about the way this story is being told (as well as how the characters are portrayed) is NOTHING is spelled out perfectly in Good or Evil. . . . there are SO many different perspectives and varying shades of gray. . . . . . . . the cover really sums it up perfectly as Leo is the one to shoulder the burden of understanding why the Turtles father has pushed them away. . . . . . but hearing Splinter remind Leonardo of what ha more
