    cxPulp - Walt Kneeland Nov 1, 2012

Though it works with current continuity...I think this works extremely well as an original graphic novel. If you're already reading IDW's TMNT books, this is well worth getting--it's an extra-length story featuring most of the usual protagonists (particularly Raphael and Casey). But if you're not and/or have not read any of the IDW stuff--if you're a fan of classic TMNT and haven't read any TMNT in 15-20 years, even--this is well worth getting for a lengthy one-shot story. You need not have read anything to get into this...and there's no to-be-continued to try to get you to read anything after this. Read Full Review

Read Comic Books - Derek Baker Oct 30, 2012

This Annual should be a delight for a lot of TMNT fans. Kevin Eastman captures a timeless Turtles quality that never goes out of style for Shell Heads. The biggest problem for this book is the $8.99 price tag. This steep price is going to turn away many casual readers. Its a solid book, but because of the money that you will have to spend, its hard to recommend this book to anybody except hardcore Ninja Turtles fans. Read Full Review

    Razorfine - Alan Rapp Nov 7, 2012

I'm not the biggest fan of the Rashomon storytelling angle Eastman uses here, but I I love the look and feel of the characters and their surroundings. At $9 it's certainly going to scare off a few buyers, but Eastman fills the comic with as many of the reintroduced characters as possible and provides tons of story and action, along with a great wrap-around cover, longtime fans should enjoy. Best of the week. Read Full Review

    Geekality - Joe Sarnicola Oct 30, 2012

This is the turtles in full-blown action. The cover price is higher than a monthly comic, but the longer story is well worth the few extra pennies. Hopefully youll be able to find a copy on the shelf of your favorite comic shop. You might even want to collect all 6 variant covers. Read Full Review
