This issue was action packed from start to finish while still giving some backstory on the main characters. Padilla has mastered drawing these characters working on multiple titles of Transformers. Deer is also a veteran of the franchise. He brings beautiful color schemes to the already killer art to make this a great book to look at. Read Full Review

Unleash The Fanboy - Daniel Alvarez Nov 28, 2012

Overall, Rageof the Dinobots #1 is a fantastic start to this mini-series. It's exciting, part of the show's continuity, and no humans. (That's always a plus.) The writing is very good, plus we all could use a little more Shockwave to hold us over until Season 3, so there's always that. If you're a fan of Transformers Prime, there is no reason why you shouldn't pick this comic up. Read Full Review

Transformers Prime: Rage of the Dinobots #1 is a fantastic kick-off to a great Transformers premise, Transformers that are dinosaurs. With great art and a simple yet intelligent and investing script, this one is a welcome addition to the ever-growing Transformers universe of comic books. There is no need for deep explanations, but the important details are explained very directly and clearly making this a great place for any reader new to Transformers comics to pick up on. So should you get this book? Me, Kelly, say you should. It's a great read for us long-time fans, but it's a strong story on its own and reads like its own epic. This is the Transformers universe. And it's one I plan on revisiting again soon. Read Full Review

Bloody Disgusting - Your Friendly Neighborhood Brady Nov 29, 2012

Questions are raised about their identities and if these alien dinosaur forms define them now. Are they more animal than machine now? This is deeper than I thought The Transformers could ever get. I personally don't think it's necessary for this story. All I want to see is Dinobots transform and destroy! Bring on Devastator! I hope this series is more fun than serious in the future. Read Full Review
