Meet Lin Sae Woo. She's a covert operative for the United States Department of Agriculture, and one its most lethal assassins. She has the equivalent of black belts in four different disciplines of martial arts hand-to-hand combat and is equally deadly with swords, throwing knifes, sniper rifles and handguns. She'll make a corpse out of anybody who tries to stand between her and completion of her current assignment-and that includes that nosy F.D.A. agent with the creepy cibopath power, Tony Chu!

If you haven't read "Chew" yet, Layman and Guillory have already rushed out a collection of the first five issues so that you can start at the beginning. The great thing, though? If you just jumped directly in with #7 you'd still know what was going on and have a good time. It's well worth a try. Read Full Review

It's kind of odd that Chu has embarked on a solo mission right after his partner was reintroduced to the mix, but we'll see, maybe there's a reason for this decision. The issue is a bit lighter on the laughs but sets up an interesting new direction.
