‘The End of All Things' may be the chapter to bring Invincible to a close, but the events of Invincible #132 gets you pumped for what has been unleashed in Mark's family. Finally, at least some intensity after so many slow paced issues. Eve's powers are a cheat... It really wasn't a surprise, that's a good thing Kirkman didn't make a "big twist" out of this and the issue concluded not with them being torn apart...
It's difficult to avoid the conclusion that this series is staggering towards its finishing line. With it's current show publishing schedule, it's going to be around for years yet.
This was okay. Cory Walker can draw, but this issue feels very rushed, as it doesn't seem up to standards. And the conclusion of the story seems like a bit of a cheat. I'm still looking forward to what is to come, but this didn't fully deliver for me.
