    Although this is the first issue Invincible Ive read, I not only love it, but also know its characters without being told a lot about them. Thats not just talent, thats what every comic book creator wants from his or her book. So cmon, get to know Invincible better. Read Full Review

    Invincible is not a flashy title, nor is it particularly ground-breaking one. What it is, is a well-judged celebration of what makes, or perhaps made, superhero comics so much fun to read, put together with obvious enthusiasm by a creative team that clearly love what they're doing. So many superhero titles today are tiring in their absurd grittiness and misjudged grabs at realism; by contrast, Invincible is a very welcome jolt of genuine gusto, and I love it. Read Full Review

    Besides that, nothing of consequence really occurs. If you're a huge Invincible fan, this'll be a completely satisfying arc, since it's following a tried and true formula. This is especially true when Ryan Ottley's consistently impressive art is added to the equation. If you're more of a casual fan though, you might be better served just holding out until issue 50 rolls around, since I'm assuming the train will be running at full speed after that.     Was good to see Eve in action and I'm not sure how they're going to resolve the rift between her and Mark. Also, it looks like that issue 50 cover with Mark's bloody fists and the government agent on the ground will be because he finds out about the secret army of cyborgs, the same ones his friend was turned into, they're building behind Mark's back.
