    As always, Prophet #34 features a back-up story; this time it's Part 1 of "Care" by Matt Sheean and Malachai Ward. Ward is a creator I've been obsessed with lately -- his knack for textured, landscapey sci-fi makes him a perfect fit for Prophet -- and his comic with Sheean is decidedly Prophet-esque as it involves a society where its denizens sacrifice one of their own to a creature who creates a gas that sustains their own environment.     In short, this is well worth a read, but don't expect much. Whilst there is some action, a lot of Prophet #34 is a further insight into the setting, rather than the plot or characters. Read Full Review
