We The Nerdy - Joel Raivid Jul 2, 2014

Ultimately, this was a great issue which had one annoyance in my opinion and that was the fact we only just got told about how the powers of the Protectors work, and I am assuming this isnt the whole story. Dont get me wrong, it was great that we finally have some answers to this but I question why it took so long to get this explanation. Unlike in Sidekick where I cant see why it took 7 issues, with Protectors Inc. being more of a detective story it doesnt bother me as much that it took this long and that is one of the strengths of this book as it feels like a detective story throughout. It is slow, methodical, and pays a lot of attention to detail and it really is an enjoyable book. On top of that the art is fantastic, especially the colouring, and perfectly in tune with the writing. Read Full Review

    AIPT - Jordan Richards Jul 2, 2014

Protectors, Inc.‘s new arc starts off on the right foot, fixing problems it was suffering from. The story felt stronger, with more things happening and more exploration of the mythos, the characters are developing more and becoming likeable, and the mystery continues to deepen and grow more intriguing. Artwork is alright, but nothing more. Still, I have more confidence in Protectors than before and I really look forward to what the future holds for this series. Read Full Review

Comic Bastards - James Anders II Jul 3, 2014

As for now, it is still anyone's guess for who is responsible. But I know one thing for sure. J Michael Straczynski and Gordon Purcell are responsible for blowing up this little wonderful comic big time. They are bringing it and bringing it hard. And I know that I can't wait to see how all of this will play out. Read Full Review
