The Fandom Post - Richard Gutierrez Jun 14, 2017

It is the struggle of both Rose and Thorne which makes this issue such a joy to read and a pleasure to view. From the very beginning, we see the contrast of the two, one careful and thoughtful, while the other is stubborn and self-deprecating. But as the story unfolds, it seems as if the wisdom of the beast is being shared as the whole of the narrative comes full circle from the first book. The skill of Finch, Guara and Farrell has brought us this far and I hope that they will continue to weave this story into a narrative which we cannot wait to unwrap with each passing issue. Bounding Into Comics - Donald Edmonds Jun 21, 2017

There's a lot of good things going on in Rose #3 that catch my attention and genuinely piqued my interest for wanting more. The only complaints I have against the comic are small and ruin my suspension of disbelief. With just small tweaks in the writing choices, I believe it could be a perfectly enjoyable title to read. If you've been a fan of this series so far or are like me and have been on the fence, I think Rose #3 will be enjoyable. While I've felt the story has been slow moving so far, we finally have some real content and backstory relevant to the characters at play. It's clear that Rose's magic is becoming stronger. She still is not a warrior yet and I'm interested in seeing her get to that point as well as her finally meeting Thorne. I think then we'll be treated to even more story and hopefully Rose can continue to discover her true self. Read Full Review

Rose #3 is an exciting and compelling edition that explores some interesting character developments. Rose is going through some changes, finally embracing her magical abilities and her destiny to become a guardian. We are also introduced to the glorious Thorne, a captivating giant black kitty! The art is vibrant and fresh, and captures the enchanting side to this world. I'm looking forward to going on more adventures with Rose, and seeing her meet Thorne for the first time.
