Entertainment Fuse - Mike Miersen Jul 29, 2013

The Dream Merchant, this issue included, is still a solid read, but this isn't a universal reccomend. IIt straddles an odd line. It's a character study that doesn't hit Sandman levels, and it isn't fantastical action like something you'd see in The Matrix. But who knows, there are still three issues to go, maybe they're set to wow us. Read Full Review

Read Comic Books - Joey Caswell Jul 23, 2013

This series has some excellent underlying ideas that have previously been well executed, so dont let this one issue throw you off. It seems to be a bit of a stutter given the wonderful momentum delivered by the opening installments. This series can surely deliver what the plot has seemed to promise, but this issue had some fairly lofty expectations attached to it which werent entirely satisfied. An issue from any title that doesnt serve to move the story forward or further develop important characters can be a disappointment, but it can be even more damaging to include such a chapter in a mini-series. Stick with this book until next month because the nightmares surely cant be held back much longer. Read Full Review

Comic Bastards - Samantha Roehrig Jul 24, 2013

Not a whole lot of action happens. Even though they are running away from the Regulators, not much else is going on and it is pretty easy for them to get away. Read Full Review

Winslow, Anne, and the Merchant of Dreams will continue to gear up for the regulators invasion in the next issue, but their activities have caught the attention of local police and Homeland Security. Its evident that Edmondsons building up to something bigger than what readers previously anticipated. Hopefully, he delivers. Read Full Review

Comic Book Resources - Meagan Damore Jul 29, 2013

"The Dream Merchant" #3 suffers from a dense, exposition-heavy plot that stays exciting only because of its excellent character building. The miniseries has a lot of potential to stay afloat, but only if the story is executed with more natural dialogue. With three issues left to go, "The Dream Merchant" is worth a read for Edmondson's characters, Nvosadov's fanciful art and the sleepy world that seems as though it's just about to get interesting for everyone involved. Following The Nerd - Jake Tanner Jul 26, 2013

I don't think we've gotten all of the pieces to this puzzle and for that very reason I'm sticking with this series. There's a ton of intrigue to this story and it's just the right amount to keep me interested. You won't read an adventure like this in another book, so check it out! Image continues its amazing hot streak with The Dream Merchant! Read Full Review
