Li'l Depressed Boy is a series that isn't afraid to take its time, which is perhaps the most remarkable thing about it. Small, relatively inconsequential happenings are played out in multiple panels, sometimes across pages. At one point, LDB walks home listening to music with a simple, happy smile on his face, and a pretty sky behind him.
